This month we introduce you to San Diego based Naturopathic Physician Aliza Cicerone. In our featured interview you will learn about the naturopathic approach to medical care and how it differs from standard medical practice.
At Grace Care Management we like to offer our clients and families choices and educate them on the different types of local professionals available to assist them with their needs. We thank Dr. Cicerone for her time in allowing us to conduct this interview and for educating us on naturopathic medicine.
This month we are excited to introduce you to business owner and managing attorney Joanna de Vos. Joanna is the owner of The Law Office of Joanna de Vos, APC here in San Diego. She has a true advocate’s heart and a life calling to helping others. Grace Care first met Joanna almost two years ago and we were immediately impressed. Not only is she a best-in-class Estate Planner, but she is also a proud cancer survivor, health advocate, free-lance writer and mother of two terrific boys. Joanna has somehow learned how to do it all and she does it with great passion and heart. We are fortunate to have her as a community resource.

When people ask me how being a Nurse Care Manager differs from being a “regular nurse,” I always think of many answers. I usually respond by saying, “A Nurse Care Manager is first and foremost a patient advocate,” but the picture is hardly drawn by those pale words.
How do you explain that Nurse Care Managers stand beside elderly people who find themselves in trouble with no one close enough or experienced enough to help?
This month we introduce you to one of our very best San Diego caregivers and special member of our team, Jeanette Johnson.
Jeanette was born and raised in Idaho. After finishing high school she graduated from cosmetology school and owned her own salon for fifteen years. She later became the wife to a farmer and got involved with many jobs around the farm. Eventually, Jeanette’s entrepreneurial spirit and creativity influenced her to start a sewing business where she manufactured horse equipment such as blankets, bags and harnesses.
